A glittering career sometimes hides the most piteous stories underneath. Lolo Jones, who took home the USA as well as the World Championships for hurdle events in 2013, only attained this status by putting in a lot of determination and persistence. Jones was the only child of a large family with five children, and grew up living in poverty. Her mother was constantly moving and even lived in the basement of the church. Jones began her track career at the end of 2005, when she had completed her studies at the university. The first time she worked at Auckland as a wholesaler later being elevated to a management consultant for IT. Lesley began her professional career in commercials after several acting roles. In 2008, she graduated from her acting major and pursued further training in Meisner techniques of learning. Lesley Brandt's first notable part-time acting gig was with the TV drama Diplomatic Immunity, which aired in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt has shown up in the New Zealand TV drama series Shortland Street on a support role. In the following season, she was in the science-fiction action thriller This Is Not My Life which is based on the anecdote of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt starred in the show Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia an escaped hostage. She was later seen in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena Miniseries.
